Walk the empty halls, work through the checklist, talk to Lin at the cloakroom and to the last visitor in Room 4 — and look closely when something in Room 7 doesn't look the way it did this morning.

You play Sascha, 19, in your second month as a volunteer attendant at the museum. Today, for the first time, you watch the natural-history wing alone while Frau Hartmann runs the children's sketching workshop downstairs. At the workshop, ten-year-old Ben is drawing the old emerald cabinet. He says, very calmly: ‘I counted ten.’ The brass label says nine. Follow the small mystery up and down the stairs, into the museum café, through the staff archive and the catalogue room — until you meet an older lady who has been waiting almost forty years for someone to ask.
